The Dallas Mavericks’ only victory in their last five games came against Golden State. It’s been a little more than two weeks since the Warriors were victorious.

Looking to bounce back from a loss to the last-place team in the Western Conference, the visiting Mavericks try to extend the Warriors’ season high losing streak to nine games Monday night when the teams meet for the second time in six days.

Despite a career-high 46 points from Golden State’s Monta Ellis, Dallas (31-19) snapped a three-game losing streak with a 110-101 home win over the Warriors on Wednesday. Two nights later, however, the Southwest Division-leading Mavericks lost 117-108 at home to Minnesota — the club tied with Golden State (13-36) for the fewest wins in the West — for their fourth defeat in five games.

Dallas has allowed opponents to shoot 52.0 percent and average 109.6 points during that slump.
