The Sony DCR-SX60 is a standard definition camcorder with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 33 mm lens and 1/8in CCD sensor with an effective resolution of 410K. Our test signal seemed reasonable when shot under optimal light: the images clearly showed a good amount of detail. Colors were also acceptable, although we would have liked to see a little more vitality.
